Inspired by old family photos and images taken of friends I was fascinated with the possibility of capturing emotion and feelings in digital art. I created physical collages using multiple mediums and resources, images from magazines, flicked paint, dragged oil pastel, spray paint, pulled acrylic, to name a few, I then took pictures of the areas of these collages I liked and I worked on these images and used them as layers in the digital collages I created. I then printed these off and physically worked on top of them, then again taking images of areas I liked, creating more digital work, a process started to develop in my work.
Utopia: an imaginary society which possess perfect qualities, felt like an appropriate and interesting concept to consider when the chaos and uncertainty of the outside world was out of all of our control.
