Exhibiting our degree show work, in London, at Copeland Gallery was an amazing opportunity for my work to reach further audiences, and to be engaged with in an alternative space.
I exhibited a smaller version of my degree show work Scaffolding Maze, and had two boards collaged in the same way as I had done to the back wall in my degree show; adding pink lights around the outside to add a similar affect to the pink hue which was cast over my degree show space. Observing how audiences interacted with this work was really motivating.
Copeland Gallery’s space really complimented my work, the industrial layout and architecture had a conversation with the scaffolding and the materials used in my work; as well as the choices made in installation.
